At the 20th Anniversary Conference of the Usability Professionals Association (UPA), Tom Tullis was awarded their 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award. As stated on the plaque, this award is for:
His leadership in the usability field for over 30 years; his commitment to education in the UX field; his research and publications, especially around UX metrics and his quantitative approaches; and his ambassadorship of the field.
The award was introduced by Tom's co-author, Bill Albert. Below are some photos from the award ceremony.
